Pruvit Keto Kreme Review for 2024 | & Better Alternatives!

I have a lot of clients who are into keto. The ketogenic diet helped them lose weight and train more effectively, so they’re now trimmer and full of energy.

One of these guys, Rob, was the epitome of a clean-eating, no-supplements kind of guy.

I remember the smirk on his face when I told him about Keto Kreme and the effects it had on me. “Thanks,” he said. “I’ll stick to my Ghee butter and coconut oil.”

But one time, he was feeling sluggish before a workout. I was having Keto Kreme coffee in my office and offered him a cup.

Keto Kreme (KK) immediately gave him an energy boost. He had some ketone strips handy and saw a big increase in his ketone levels.

Then, he could challenge himself for a whole hour in the gym. That’s when Rob became addicted to KK.

As Rob could tell you, Keto Kreme is worth buying. This MCT oil-based supplement will increase your energy levels, help you think more clearly, and fuel you for hours.

But is this the best keto MCT oil-based coffee creamer you could buy?

The jury’s still out. I’ll tell you why below.

What is Keto Kreme FFT by Pruvit?

Kreme 2.0

Keto Kreme FFT by Pruvit is a ketogenic creamer. Unlike a regular coffee creamer, this supplement contains MCT oils.

The result is that you’ll have more energy throughout the day because MCTs convert quickly into ketones, thus kickstarting ketosis.

I like KK because it makes my coffee taste delicious and because it keeps me feeling full for longer. I also trust Pruvit’s reputation and know they get mostly stellar reviews.

The Pruvit website states that coffee is one of the best ways that deliver keto fuel into your body. When you add healthy fats to your cup of Joe, you will get an effective dose of ketones.

These ketones counteract the possible jitters and the crash-and-burn feeling you get after drinking regular coffee.

SUMMARY: It is a healthy, organic supplement that will power your metabolism and wire your brain. That way, you’ll be energetic throughout the day.

How Does Keto Kreme Work? How to Use It?

Remember my story above about Rob? Rob is a strict keto-er, and he sticks to healthy fats.

No cheat days, no carbs…

Keto Kreme How to useSo why didn’t his butter and coconut oil coffee work as well as KK? Moreover, why did it boost his ketone levels when he was already on keto?

KK is jam-packed with MCTs. MCTs are medium-chain triglycerides, aka fatty acids that quickly transform into ketones in your body.

On the other hand, coconut oil is only 60% MCT tops, 50% of which is C12 Lauric Acid. C12 is the most difficult MCT to transform into ketones because it has the longest chain of carbons.

Ghee butter and other dairy-based products contain just 10-12% MCTs.

If you want quick energy, you need more C8 Caprylic fatty acids and C10 Capric Acid. That’s how KK works. It gives you more C8 and C10 than you could ever get from one meal so you can get a huge energy boost.

It worked for Rob, and it worked for me. It can work for you too if you use it correctly:

  1. Prepare your morning coffee, tea, or shake
  2. Add a scoop of KK
  3. Stir patiently for half a minute or add it to a blender
  4. Drink up and enjoy the energy boost

SUMMARY: It works thanks to its high content of MCTs that transform quickly into ketones. The creamer is easy to use; mix a scoop in your coffee and presto!

How Does It Taste?

KK is a delicious blend because Pruvit researched it for a couple of years before marketing it.

I like the thick texture and subtle taste, especially because I can spike my coffee with extra spices, such as cocoa or peppermint.

I’m also a fan of the cinnamon taste, but some people might disagree. For instance, Corynn thinks this supplement tastes like a “fake sweetener in bone broth.” Most Amazon reviewers disagree with her, and state that KK tastes “GREAT.”

My favorite flavor is Mocha, but you can also try:

  • Nutty Ketoman
  • Sweet Kreme
  • Pumpkin Spice

SUMMARY: It is a tasty, thick creamer, although it doesn’t have any sugar.

Nutrition Facts. What Are The Main Ingredients?

Before I tell you about the ingredients, I have a bone to pick with Pruvit: it has a proprietary MCT blend.

Supplement FactsThat means you don’t know exactly which MCTs are mixed into the KK, but just that they’re the right proportion according to their official website.

That said, I like that Pruvit uses clean, organic ingredients.

Although this supplement doesn’t target vegans and vegetarians, it’s gluten-free and sugar-free.

Keto Kreme includes:

  • Coconut butter that’s high in healthy fat. Coconut butter improves your immune system, plus your heart and brain health.
  • More MCTs than you can find in any food. MCTs, quickly converts fat into energy, so KK increases your ketone levels, accelerates your metabolism for fast weight loss, and gives you a substantial energy boost.
  • Ceylon cinnamon. This ingredient is a strong antioxidant that fights against free radicals and toxins. The result is a healthier, stronger, and younger you. Cinnamon is also good at stabilizing your blood sugar levels, which is exactly what you want when you’re on keto.
  • Collagen. Collagen is a type of protein that keeps your bones, cartilage, joints, hair, nails, and skin healthy. I couldn’t help but notice that KK doesn’t contain a lot of collagen, though.
  • Stevia. This natural sweetener keeps you in ketosis, doesn’t spike your blood glucose, and it’s low-calorie. However, some people dislike how intensely sweet it is.
  • Sea salt. If your goal is weight loss, your metabolism can falter as it gets used to a low-calorie diet, which can lead to potential thyroid problems. However, sea salt contains a lot of iodine that protects your thyroid. Secondly, everyone knows that dehydration is a real danger for keto-ers. Luckily, sodium is an essential electrolyte that keeps the water inside the cells.

SUMMARY: It is a clean, organic supplement that contains MCTs and FFT (Functional Fat Technology). Click here for reviews of best mct oils.

What Are The Benefits & Side Effects

I’ll tell you some benefits and side effects from my experience and that of my clients, but you can read plenty of Keto Kreme reviews on Amazon or Reddit to get more insights.

PROS
  • Minimal hunger pangs. You can thank the high content of MCTs for that
  • Quick weight loss. A Keto Kreme coffee is a good meal replacement because it only has 130 calories/per serving
  • Sustained energy. The MCTs inside KK  burn slower than carbs, so you’ll get more energy quickly
  • Better focus and alertness. MCT oil and coconut oil improve your brain function, which includes memory and concentration
  • Some improvements regarding mild joint pain. The collagen intake in KK protects your joints and bones
  • Better sleep. MCTs are proven to help you sleep better, but if you want a good supplement for that purpose, choose Pruvit Keto Kalm
CONS
  • Bloating, diarrhea, and cramps. Until your body gets used to this high-fat diet, your digestive system will be in some distress.
  • Some jitters and tingling sensations. KK packs 294% DV of Vitamin B6 and 4167% DV of Vitamin B12, which are known to cause these symptoms.

SUMMARY: KK keeps you satiated, boosts your energy, and helps you lose weight. However, it can cause some digestive issues and tingling sensations in your hands and feet.

Keto Kreme vs. Keto OS

vs Keto Os

The main difference between Keto Kreme and Keto OS is that KK is an MCT supplement, whereas Keto OS is a BHB exogenous ketones supplement.

MCT Oil stimulates your body to produce its own ketones, while BHBs are ketones produced in a lab, that will increase your ketone levels artificially.

Bonus questions: Does Keto Kreme break a fast? Does Keto OS break a fast?

Keto Kremes breaks your fast because it contains calories, aka healthy fats. On the other hand, Keto OS NAT does not break your fast because it contains exogenous ketones, similar to what your body produces.

BHBs are not food per se; these fatty acids are micronutrients just like vitamins or minerals. So if taking vitamin C doesn’t break your fast, neither does a BHB supplement.

Keto OS:

  • Triggers ketosis faster
  • Doesn’t break your fast
  • Is sweeter
  • Is better for cold drinks
  • It’s dairy-free and gluten-free
  • It has no fat
  • It contains an amino acid blend of L-taurine and L-leucine to improve your workout endurance
  • It has only 56 calories/ serving

Keto Kreme

  • Increases your natural ketone production
  • Breaks your fast
  • Is not extremely sweet
  • Is better for warm drinks
  • It contains dairy
  • It contains 12 grams of fat per serving, so it’s a good meal replacement because it keeps you satiated
  • It has 2grams of protein per serving, so it’s not a stellar preworkout
  • It has 130 calories per serving

SUMMARY: KK is more filling, better for warm drinks, and a good meal replacement. However, Keto OS kickstarts ketosis quickly because it’s an exogenous ketones supplement.

Does Pruvit Put You Into Ketosis?

I wish Pruvit were as magical as people have made it out to be over the years. While it’s true that a person can lose up to 20 pounds within six weeks of using it, you still have to eat the food in the plan, which isn’t always easy when you’re starving and your schedule is crazy. Pruvit has put me into ketosis (just like I have to do all the time with other diet plans), but I don’t think this is the end-all-be-all of the plan. Let’s see, before my holiday trips to Ohio and New York, I found that I didn’t have a proper lunch and snacks throughout the day to combat hunger. Instead, I ate breakfast and a snack at the airport and only felt really full when I ate dinner and dessert.

I kept my portions small so I wouldn’t be hungry. I didn’t have the option to exercise either, which was part of the reason I was not losing weight. I still try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise most days of the week, but that was in the mix of my busy days. It’s the promise of incredible results that has driven a lot of people to purchase Pruvit. Most often, the interest has come from their sponsored Instagram page or Instagram post. I got my package after seeing an Instagram post from their sponsor.

When Should You Drink Ketones?

People on a ketogenic diet may not be able to get enough omega-3s by eating fatty fish. They should take an omega-3 supplement. There is conflicting evidence about whether to take an omega-3 supplement. Some people believe that omega-3 supplements offer more benefits than other kinds of supplements, including calcium, vitamin D, zinc, and other vitamins. However, there is no evidence to support this. Furthermore, some experts believe that omega 3 supplements are not as effective as vitamin D and zinc when it comes to helping to reduce the risks of heart disease. People can also consume some types of omega 3 supplements that contain very high amounts of omega 3 fatty acids.

Some people who follow a low-carb diet may not be able to get enough omega-3s from the diet alone. They should take omega-3 supplements or increase their intake of fatty fish. Tea. People who are drinking green tea or using green tea extract in their tea do not need to take omega 3 supplements or Bioavailability blend. However, people who want to reduce their risk of heart disease should limit the amount of green tea they consume, to lower their risk of having heart disease or developing heart problems.

How Do Keto Pills Put You in Ketosis?

Now that we know what the gut is doing, let’s look at how our body processes fats. Let’s say you eat a meal with whole eggs and no cholesterol. Your body breaks down the egg whites in your colon, so they are then readily available for absorption into your bloodstream and liver. This is basically what happens with fats, but we don’t have the enzymes in our bodies to break down the lipids, so they pass right through our system and we don’t absorb them. Our bodies don’t know how to properly process them.

In contrast, a “normal” carb-rich meal breaks down in the body almost immediately, since it releases fat-soluble nutrients into our bloodstream. These nutrients are absorbed into our body through various pathways and can be processed into energy. Since it is generally easier for our bodies to digest and use fats, if our diets are high in saturated fat, our bodies are forced to convert them into energy. I have compiled a chart below of the conversion of saturated fat into various forms of energy so you can see how it works and why it is less likely to be stored as fat: Some days your body is in a very fast-digesting state.

Does Ketosis Make You Poop?

An often overlooked aspect of ketosis is that it is essentially a state of fasting in which the body undergoes a dramatic decrease in glucose consumption. This could have a huge impact on your appetite, and ultimately, your bowel movements. Basically, ketosis basically changes your body’s fuel source from carbohydrates to fat, and then speeds up the breakdown of that fat, with the effect that your body burns it without actually eating. For this reason, fasting can become challenging if you are already insulin resistant, or have a high BMI. There’s one simple technique that can help: eating a very low-carb diet, where you limit your carb intake to 50 grams or less per day, and this usually works.

Do Exogenous Ketones Really Work?

I have recently started taking 1/2 tbsp of varying JWH-015 ketones in the morning. I have also started hemp milk, which is essentially a fatty acid supplement with twice the amounts of omega 3’s of typical omega fatty acids. I read somewhere that the ketogenic diet has been shown to be effective for epilepsy, so I started wondering if this could be the key to brain repair. The idea is that the high energy levels from ketone bodies keep your brain from reaching its keto breakdown point, preventing epilepsy.

It’s an all-or-nothing type of approach; if it doesn’t work, I stop taking the Ketone supplements. If it does work, I keep taking them and see how it affects epilepsy. If you have the same question, you might want to try this if you are not on the ketogenic diet. It is also worth considering because of ketoacidosis, a precursor to seizures in epilepsy patients. One study shows that the ketogenic diet for epilepsy was effective and safe. In that study, five patients were treated, and one started the ketogenic diet and reported positive effects.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Drink Ketones and Still Eat Carbs?

Yes, it is possible to consume ketones and still eat carbohydrates. However, it’s important to understand the potential implications and limitations of such an approach.

When you consume carbohydrates, your body breaks them down into glucose, which is the primary source of energy for most cells. In contrast, ketones are produced when your body metabolizes fats in the absence of sufficient glucose.

Drinking ketones, such as exogenous ketone supplements, can raise the levels of ketones in your bloodstream. This can provide an alternative energy source for your body and potentially help induce a state of ketosis, even if you continue to consume carbohydrates.

However, it’s important to note that the presence of carbohydrates can limit the extent of ketosis. When you consume carbohydrates, your body prioritizes using glucose as its primary energy source. This means that the presence of high carbohydrate intake can diminish the utilization of ketones for fuel.

Furthermore, the effectiveness of ketones for various benefits, such as increased energy or weight loss, may be compromised when carbohydrates are consumed alongside them. In a state of ketosis, the body relies on ketones for energy, and introducing carbohydrates can disrupt this metabolic state.

It’s important to consider your goals and individual circumstances when deciding whether to consume ketones while still eating carbohydrates. If you are following a ketogenic diet for weight loss or specific health benefits, it is generally recommended to restrict carbohydrate intake to promote and sustain ketosis.

However, some individuals may choose to incorporate exogenous ketones alongside their regular diet to potentially support energy levels or performance, without necessarily aiming for a state of ketosis. In such cases, it’s important to monitor your body’s response and make adjustments based on your specific needs and goals.

As always, consulting with a healthcare professional or a registered dietitian can provide personalized guidance and help you determine the most appropriate approach based on your individual circumstances, health status, and goals.

Can You Lose Weight Just by Drinking Ketones?

Losing weight solely by drinking ketones is unlikely. While ketones can potentially aid in weight loss efforts, they are not a magic solution on their own. Weight loss ultimately depends on creating a calorie deficit, which means consuming fewer calories than your body needs for energy. While ketones can provide an alternative energy source and potentially suppress appetite, they do not directly cause weight loss.

To achieve sustainable weight loss, it is essential to adopt a well-balanced, calorie-controlled diet, engage in regular physical activity, and make long-term lifestyle changes. Ketones can be a tool to support your weight loss journey when combined with a healthy overall approach, but they should not be relied upon as the sole method for weight reduction.

What Does Keto Kreme Honey Bear Taste Like?

The taste of Keto Kreme Honey Bear, like any food product, is subjective and can vary among individuals. Keto Kreme Honey Bear is a specific product that often combines elements of a ketogenic diet with a flavor profile reminiscent of honey. It typically contains ingredients such as MCT oil, collagen, and other ketogenic-friendly components.

From a sensory perspective, the taste experience can be described as a sweet and creamy flavor, with the aim of providing a keto-friendly alternative to traditional honey-flavored products. The inclusion of MCT oil may contribute a subtle nutty or coconut undertone. Some individuals may perceive a slight sweetness, although the intensity can differ based on personal taste preferences and sensitivity to sweetness.

It’s important to note that taste perceptions are highly individualized, influenced by factors such as genetic variations, dietary habits, and personal preferences. Additionally, product formulations can vary between brands, so specific taste experiences may differ based on the particular Keto Kreme Honey Bear product in question.

For a more accurate understanding of the taste, individual reviews, and product descriptions may offer valuable insights. As taste is inherently subjective, exploring the product firsthand or considering peer experiences can provide a more nuanced perspective on the flavor profile of Keto Kreme Honey Bear.

Does Keto Kreme Break a Fast?

Yes, Keto Kreme can break a fast, depending on the ingredients and macronutrient content of the product. Fasting typically involves abstaining from consuming calories for a certain period, which helps promote various health benefits such as weight loss, improved metabolic health, and cellular repair.

Keto Kreme is a dietary supplement often used by individuals following a ketogenic diet, which is high in fat and low in carbohydrates. While Keto Kreme is formulated to be low in carbohydrates and sugar, it may still contain calories from fats, protein, or other ingredients, depending on the specific product.

Consuming anything other than water or non-caloric beverages during fasting periods can trigger metabolic processes that break the fast. Even small amounts of calories from fats or proteins can stimulate insulin secretion and inhibit autophagy, a cellular process that occurs during fasting and is associated with various health benefits.

Additionally, some Keto Kreme products may contain sweeteners or flavorings that could affect blood sugar levels and insulin secretion, further disrupting the fasting state.

However, individual responses to consuming Keto Kreme during fasting may vary based on factors such as metabolic rate, insulin sensitivity, and overall dietary habits. Some people may find that incorporating Keto Kreme into their fasting routine does not significantly affect their fasting goals, while others may experience disruptions in their fasting state.

Ultimately, if the primary goal of fasting is to achieve specific metabolic or health benefits, it’s essential to consider the potential impact of consuming Keto Kreme or any other calorie-containing substance during fasting periods. Consulting with a healthcare professional or registered dietitian can provide personalized guidance on incorporating supplements like Keto Kreme into a fasting regimen while still achieving desired health outcomes.

Final Thoughts. Where Can I Buy KETO//KREME?

There are plenty of places that retail KK, but not all are equally good.

Some shady retailers promise huge discounts, only to deliver a tainted, expired, or damaged product. I’d stick to trustworthy sources, like Amazon, Costco, Walmart, or the Pruvit website.

But should you buy it?

This coffee creamer is a good source of healthy fats to boost your energy, keep you satiated, and help you lose weight.

It also contains ingredients like cinnamon to strengthen your immune system and improve your metabolism.

However, Pruvit hides its proprietary MCT blend, so you don’t know exactly how many and what types you’re getting.

.

This supplement packs vitamins B6 and B12 galore, which trigger tingling sensations in your extremities.

And, although it claims to contain a lot of collagen for joint and bone health, I’ve seen products with more collagen than Keto Kreme.

My experience with Pruvit Keto Kreme is that it works. It might not be as strong as adding Perfect Keto MCT oil into your coffee, but it gives you sustained energy for the rest of the day.
