This year, Holly Willoughby, a famous UK TV star, was involved in a scam, also starring Purefit Keto.
The fraudsters created fake interviews in which she apparently admitted to using Purefit Keto to lose a lot of weight after the birth of her third child.
Was Purefit Keto involved in this?
Are the newspapers calling Purefit Keto diet pills “dangerous,” right?
It has received various awards, including “Best Weight Loss For Women” in Dieting Now Magazine.
I want to be as objective as possible regarding this keto supplement because everyone needs to find out the truth.
Let’s start with my Purefit Keto review…
What is PureFit Keto?
Purefit Keto is an exogenous ketone supplement that naturally triggers ketosis. You’ll read more about the ingredients below, but the first glance at them tells you they’re all non-GMO and effective.
Purefit Keto Weight Loss Pills is the company that manufactures this product. The company promises you will get into ketosis almost immediately after your first dose.
They say you’ll feel a surge of energy and get into the fat-burning mode quickly. That’s why they have become such a popular brand in the industry.
I wanted to test that theory, so I tried this keto supplement myself. I also did extensive research, reading real reviews, and talking to the customers on dedicated forums.
Indeed, some people didn’t see the results they were looking for, but they also didn’t stick to a low-carb or ketogenic diet. Others have seen spectacular weight losses and a huge energy boost.
The question is: will this work for you?
Is PureFitKeto FDA Approved?
No. The label reads: “These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.”
However, it is manufactured in an FDA registered facility.
My conclusions from using the supplements are compatible with their claims. My energy improved in 1 week after start taking their supplements. It is approved for free usage in the United States and is scientifically shown to boost metabolism. This supplement includes several types of molecules, which deliver the necessary protein. Moreover, it may help you to increase your muscle mass due to the energy balance formula. It is good for men and women to burn fat for energy.
What Are the Ingredients of Purefit Keto?
The main ingredient of PurefitKeto is a proprietary blend of 800mg BHB salts.
BHBs (beta-hydroxybutyrate) is the most prevalent type of ketone your body produces when you’re in ketosis.
BHBs amount to 80% of the total ketones naturally decomposed from fat cells, while the other 20% is a mix of acetoacetate and acetone, which are too unstable to be turned into dietary supplements.
Exogenous ketones such as BHB salts in Purefit Keto are ketones produced outside your body, in a lab.
They have a similar effect on your body as naturally-occurring ketones because they raise your ketones and put you into ketosis.
BHBs are linked to salts, in this case, potassium, calcium, and sodium. BHB salts break down into your bloodstream in BHBs that trigger ketosis and the added minerals that hydrate you.
I did my research and interviewed two medical practitioners to find out more about these ingredients. Here’s what I found out:
The 800mg BHB salts are powerful enough to trigger the burning fat mode and to accelerate your metabolism for increased stamina and brain energy.
Mixing different types of BHB salts does not increase the fat-burning features.
The proprietary blend means that it may hides the proportions in which it mixes these ingredients, so you don’t know how effective they are.
The product is gluten-free.
Derived from stable mineral salts, sodium BHB does not equal table salt, which has a lot of sodium chloride.
When you’re on keto, your cells shrink, and you lose a lot of water weight, including the sodium that links to those water molecules.
Sodium BHBs will replenish the lost sodium and keep you hydrated, but they also help you burn fat when you’re exercising.
BHB is a ketone body and is involved in producing more energy and substantial fat loss when you deprive your body of glucose.
Potassium is a metabolism-regulating mineral involved in heart health.
As long-term ketogenic diets are associated with cardiovascular issues, potassium is an essential ingredient to prevent these problems.
In the short-term, potassium keeps your gut healthy so you can reduce your keto flu symptoms.
Although you can get your necessary daily requirements of potassium from fruit and veggies, ketones don’t eat as much fruit and vegetables like everyone else.
Calcium BHB is approved by the FDA, with a GRAS certificate. Calcium BHB is the most common type of ketone produced when you exercise.
The advantage is that your body will recognize it immediately, meaning it will instantly use it as a valid source of energy.
Calcium BHBs are also involved in cardiovascular health, bone and muscle strength, as well as immune system health.
Magnesium stearate is a commonly-used, safe filler.
Rice flour is also a healthy filler, with the advantage of no gluten.
Silicon dioxide is an anti-caking agent commonly used in supplements and pharmaceuticals.
Gelatin is easy to digest and safe, but it has an animal derivation, so Purefit Keto is not a vegan supplement pill.
Is PurefitKeto Safe?
All the ingredients of PurefitKeto indicate that it is a safe product with limited risks.
Three things make PurefitKeto less than safe:
- Going over the recommended daily dose
- Taking this pill (or any other) ketogenic supplement if you are pregnant, have diabetes or any other medical condition without consulting with your GP
- Constantly oscillating between carb-burning mode and burns fat
Also, make sure to stick with your keto diet!
What Are the Side Effects of PureFit Keto?
All ketogenic supplements have some side effects.
Even going in ketosis naturally has its side effects. However, they shouldn’t be too bad. If you experience them in worse than a moderate degree, talk to your doctor.
The main effects associated with raised ketones are called keto flu. You can experience:
- GI disturbance
- Abdominal pain
- Brain fog
These effects occur because your body needs to figure out new ways to produce energy, and will last up to two weeks tops. Although you give it the energy source – aka ketones – it still needs to produce special enzymes for the job.
Taking a ketone supplement such as this can make your keto flu more bearable because:
- It gives you a lot of power in the shape of the 800mg of BHBs
- The BHBs are linked to important salts that keep you hydrated and protect your digestive system
These features translate into:
- Increased hydration
- Mental focus
- Less brain fog
- Increased focus
- Increased stamina
- Decreased keto flu symptoms
Don’t increase your recommended dose to make sure all your keto flu goes away. That might lead to nausea and stomach pain (upset stomach)
Was PureFit Keto Really Featured on Shark Tank?
Shark Tank Snopes is a good place to research this controversial topic.
What happened is early in PurefitKeto history, a video from Shark Tank appeared on their official website. According to the Better Business Bureau, the snippet didn’t feature a section with Keto advanced weight loss keto reviews or details about Purefit Keto, but people (users) started associating it with Shark Tank.
Of course, now the reference is gone and there’s nothing on their website to remind you of this, or anywhere else on the internet.
My conclusion on PurefitKeto? It seems to be unintentionally involved in a lot of scams if you’re to consider the Holly Willoughby story I started with.
Or maybe it has a lot of enemies that want to profit from this supplement’s popularity.
Here’s another story for you.
Shark Tank is a popular show in the US, but other countries have their version of the show. For instance, the UK has Dragons Den, and yes, it was marketed in the UK as starring in this show.
This was another faux claim, but some buyers believed it only to see their money being stolen from their credit cards.
That doesn’t mean the PurefitKeto product doesn’t work, but it does mean the company might be untrustworthy.
Where To Buy. How Much Does It Cost?
Let’s get down to business.
Purefit Keto has an average price when compared to other ketogenic supplements. There are 60 Pirefit Keto pills in a bottle, and you should take two per day, so the bottle should last you a month.
The bottle costs approximately $50/ month, so less than a dinner out for two.
If PurefitKeto works for you and you want to benefit from some discounts, the official website features discounts if you get a two-month or three-month supply, plus reduced shipping costs.
Ordering from the official website has other advantages, such as constant special offers.
Amazon is another good place to buy because the one-month bottle costs around $30, and it has fast, free shipping in the US.
Remember the Dragons Den story above? You should only purchase it from trustworthy sources because many scam websites claim they’re the official websites only to trick customers.
You can Compare this supplement brand to Perfect Keto, which I think is also one of the best and I am still taking it.
Purefit KETO Results: Before and After (Reviews)
When I see a lot of marketing buzz and lots of hype surrounding a product, I know that something is wrong, and I want to investigate.
This brand has also apparently been targeted by too many fake copycats, and it has done nothing to prevent this from happening or from clearing their image.
My alarm bells are off, but I tried to look at PurefitKeto as objectively as possible.
I tested it myself, and it works. I measured my ketone levels with a blood monitor, and I was in full ketosis an hour after the first dose.
I didn’t experience any keto flu, I had steady energy throughout the day, and I had more stamina to exercise.
The fact is that this supplement helped me lose 8 pounds in one month (I am also a keto diet follower). I didn’t stop at my results, though. I talked with a lot of people on forums about their experiences.
Jennifer, aged 40, talks about beta keto supplements as a life-changing miracle in her weight loss journey because it helped her lose weight with no hunger pangs or crashes, while still working full-time and taking care of her two children.
Matt is a veteran with PTSD problems that got him addicted to drugs and food, which also led to sleep problems.
He thought it was not for him, but he took it anyway and found he had more energy, his sleep problems were solved and his food addiction was gone. It helped him get healthier and spend more quality time with his kids and to improve his lifestyle.
Here are a few customer reviews (video):
On the other hand, Charlie says it’s a scam. She couldn’t lose weight at all, but she also didn’t follow a low-carb or keto diet.
This probably happened because her body chose burning glucose over the ketones she supplemented with. And you can buy your Purefit Keto here.
